The person behind the lens
I’m Nadiya, the founder and lead photographer at Photo Poet Society.
I believe in capturing those fleeting moments of life that make it meaningful that would have otherwise been lost if there wasn’t a lens behind it.
I’ve been working as a wedding photographer for over a decade. I started my journey in India with an education in design followed by my first job as a wedding photographer in Mumbai.
I eventually moved to Canada to study Film Production at Vancouver Film School which greatly added to my professional skills as an artist and a storyteller.
I am passionate about exploring individualism in love, culture and society through my work.
