Celebrating Individuality and Authenticity

Love is not a one-size-fits-all.

We all have different interpretations of love, influenced by our values, backgrounds and personal relationships. It is a deeply personal experience that varies greatly between us.

We celebrate your story in your unique way, and we find the magic that makes you two, 'you', individually and together.

The Poet

The person behind the lens

Hi! I’m Nadiya, the founder and lead photographer at Photo Poet Society. I am delighted that you’re here and at the prospect of working with you! I believe in capturing those fleeting moments of life that make it meaningful that would have otherwise been lost if there wasn’t a lens behind it.

I’ve been working as a wedding photographer for over a decade. I started my journey in India with education in design followed by my first internship as a wedding photographer in Mumbai.

I eventually moved to Canada to study Film Production at Vancouver Film School which greatly added to my professional skills as an artist and a storyteller.

I love to photograph weddings like that good indie film, but with your unique story. I am passionate about exploring individualism in love, culture and society through my work.

A client once told me they were so busy during their wedding that they only saw it through the photographs we shot. It was in that moment that made me feel so lucky to be in the presence of love and photographing it and made me realise how important my work is.
